CCTV images have been released of a man officers would like to identify in connection with an assault.
A man in his 70s got involved in an altercation with a man near the entrance of the Tesco Superstore in Wimborne Road in Kinson.
It is reported the man verbally abused the victim before pushing him into a display board.
Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any injuries.
The incident occurred on July 24 at around 9.30am.
Police community support investigator Lucy Wickham, of Bournemouth police, said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing, and I have now obtained CCTV images of a man I would like to speak to.
“I would ask anyone who recognises him to please contact Dorset Police.”
