The BCP area has a huge variety of restaurants for people to try out encompassing cuisines from all around the world.

As a result, it could be a hard choice to pick out a spot, especially if you're not familiar with the area.

Therefore, we thought it might be best to ask Daily Echo readers for their recommendations.

We put out a Facebook post asking the question and here are the responses we received.

There were more than 130 comments left on the Facebook post, and several names cropped up quite a few times.

One of those was Thirteen in Poole, which is listed in the Michelin guide and has a menu which focuses on "quality and freshness of the ingredients" according to its website.

Additionally, it has a rating of 5/5 on Tripadvisor from 75 reviews.

Another Michelin-quality eatery that was brought up by a few readers was Restaurant Roots over in Southbourne.

It describes itself as a "relaxed, intimate, tasting menu restaurant" on its website and it has clearly won over quite a few diners.

One of our readers said: "Got to be Restaurant Roots in Southbourne. They're in the Harden's Top 100 UK restaurants this year plus Michelin recommended.

"I've been lucky to dine there twice this year and although it's fine dining tasting menus, you feel at ease. The food and service is top notch."
