THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:
ROURKE MCCARRON, 22 and of Commercial Road in Poole, admitted using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance, using a motor vehicle on a road without a valid test certificate, and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), at the Ashley Heath Roundabout on February 22. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also fined £469, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £187 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
DEAN MITCHENER, 45 and of Grafton Close in Bournemouth, admitted theft from a shop after stealing meat to the value of £35 from the Co-op in Charminster Road in Bournemouth on February 19. He was conditionally discharged for a period of six months. He was also ordered to pay £35 compensation.
HARRY LEATON, 21 and of Ridout Close in Bournemouth, admitted possession of a controlled drug of class A, namely 3.59 grams of Psilocin, in East Quay Road in Poole on June 7, 2023. He admitted possession of a controlled drug of class B, namely 4.66 grams of cannabis, in East Quay Road in Poole on June 7, 2023. He was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £26 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
GREGORY ROGERS, 55 and of Westway Road in Weymouth, admitted breaching a domestic violence protection order in Weymouth on August 9. He was fined £250.
RICARDO SILVA FERREIRA DE CARVALHO, 36 and of Stuart Road in Bournemouth, admitted using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance, and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), in Old Christchurch Road in Bournemouth on February 22. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also fined £600, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £240 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
LUKE GLANFIELD, of Warren Way in Sherborne, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order made by Yeovil Magistrates Court on March 6. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay costs of £60.
CARL DAVID RODGERS, 38 and of St Johns Road in Poole, admitted breaching a domestic violence protection order in east Dorset on August 19. He was fined £150.
CHARLIE CARR, 25 and of Manor Road in Bournemouth, admitted assault by beating of an emergency worker, namely a police officer, in Bournemouth on July 12. He admitted harassment - breach of a restraining order on conviction in Norton Way in Poole on July 11. Court records show he was ‘shouting and swearing’ and ‘making threats to smash the windows’ at a property which he was prohibited from visiting under the order. He was jailed for 20 weeks. He was also ordered to pay costs of £250 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
CATHERINE FRANCIS, 37 and of Glynville Close in Colehill, admitted theft from the person of another after stealing a mobile phone valued at £110 from a person in Ferndown Library on October 13, 2022. She was handed a community order lasting until August 28, 2025. She was also fined £100 and ordered to pay £130 compensation.
