TWO teenage boys have been arrested after a man was stabbed in Bournemouth's Lower Gardens last week.

The man in his 20s was taken to hospital after reports of a stabbing at 6.20pm on Monday, August 26.  

His injuries were not reported to be life-threatening.

A 17-year-old boy from east Dorset and a 16-year-old boy from Bournemouth have both been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.

The 17-year-old has been released under investigation while the 16-year-old has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.

Detective inspector Chris Bradford, of BCP CID, said: “We have been continuing to carry out a detailed investigation and have now made two arrests.
