A WIMBORNE business that specialises in beauty is now a multi award winner.

Katie’s Nails Beauty and Barbering has been awarded with the ‘multi award for mobile nail artist in Dorset’ at this years Prestige Awards.

The beauty therapist works from her home in Wimborne but also travels clients across Dorset.

Speaking on the award, Katie Stage said: “I feel truly blessed to win the multi winning award! I didn't ever expect to win one award let alone two.

“I can't thank the people who supported me enough and for Prestige Awards who recognised me.

“I started doing nails 7 years ago when my mental health was poor just to get myself out of my head. It allowed me to be creative.

“When I started doing nails on others, it gave me a sense of achievement but also I loved that I made people feel special.

When asked what Katie would say to inspiring beauty therapists, she said: Keep practicing, keep learning the new trends and enjoy the happiness you create for others.

“Also, for new nail artists to take pictures as you can see your own progress through the years.

“One day, I would love to have a van kitted out into a mobile salon so I can travel to our beaches, forests, festivals and events.”
