TWO pairs of designer sunglasses have been stolen from a store in New Milton.

The theft occurred at Boots Opticians in Station Road between 12.35pm and 1.10pm on Sunday, August 11.

Police have released CCTV images of a man they’d like to speak to in connection with the incident.

He is described as white, aged between 25 and 40 years, approximately 5ft 7ins tall, of skinny build and with short dark hair, a short scruffy beard and a tattoo on the left side of his neck.

He was wearing dark trousers, white trainers and a grey long-sleeve hooded top, and carrying a Morrisons bag for life.

A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said: “We believe the man in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.

“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.
