CLASSIC Norton Manx motorcycles will be sold at a Dorset auction next month.
Sherborne auctioneer Charterhouse will host its classic and vintage motorcycle auction at Haynes on October 3.
A 1950s Norton Manx fitted with the legendary 500cc engine is estimated at £20,000 to £22,000, followed by an early 1960s Norton Manx 350cc at £12,000 to £14,000.
Auctioneer George Beale said: “We have a fantastic selection of nearly 100 vintage and classic motorcycles already consigned dating from the 1920s through to modern sports bikes estimated from £1,000 to £40,000.
“But for me Norton Manx bikes with TT pedigree the 1950s and 1960s still stands out today.”
Charterhouse is now accepting further entries for auction.
George Beale and the Charterhouse team can be contacted for advice and valuations on classic motorcycles, cars and automobilia at The Long Street Salerooms, Sherborne, 01935 812277 or via bikes@charterhouse-auction.com.
