NEW details about the exciting opening of The Ivy in Bournemouth town centre have been revealed.
Bosses have confirmed the premium restaurant in Bournemouth Square will open this November.
People are now being recruited for a wide range of jobs and 120 roles are up for grabs – a boost for the hospitality sector.
Roles up for grabs include a sous chef, assistant restaurant manager and restaurant administrator – offering a “competitive” salary.
At the helm of this new venture will be general manager Barnaby Harris-Reid, who brings expertise from The Ivy Chichester and head chef Romuald Richomme.
From early morning breakfasts to late-night cocktails, the restaurant will provide a “warm and welcoming atmosphere” for up to 208 guests and an outside terrace for 50 customers.
The menu at The Ivy Bournemouth Brasserie promises something for every palate, with a wide array of modern, seasonal dishes.
Guests will be able to indulge in classics like shepherd's pie and blackened cod or explore new flavours with dishes like artichoke and sweet potato tagine.
The “carefully curated” drinks menu will include expertly crafted cocktails, a variety of champagne, and a selection of fine wines.
Laura Mills, managing director of The Ivy Collection, said: “We’re excited to bring The Ivy experience to the stunning seaside town of Bournemouth.
“With its close-knit community and iconic coastal location, it makes for the perfect spot for our next restaurant.
“The team can’t wait to open the doors ahead of the festive season and delight Bournemouth residents with our unrivalled Ivy service and exceptional, seasonal dishes.”
The Ivy Bournemouth Brasserie, the chain’s 42nd restaurant, promises to bring its “signature blend of high-quality food, exceptional service and an all-day dining experience”.
More details about the opening will be revealed by The Ivy Collection in due course.
A spokeswoman added: “The Ivy Bournemouth Brasserie is currently on the lookout for passionate and dedicated individuals to be part of its dynamic team.

Work has been well underway for some months now to open The Ivy.
Last week, panelling was put up around the former New Look unit with green advertising boards around for the jobs.
A strapline on the boards says: “Oh we do like to be beside the seaside” with a drawing of a woman with an Ivy hat.
