A MAN who was unconscious and not breathing was found by police on patrol in Bournemouth.
Officers were alerted to an incident in the town centre and provided immediate first aid to the man on Wednesday, September 4.
During the day, two women were also issued dispersal notices after evidence of shoplifting.
Drugs were also found during the day of action.
A spokesperson for Bournemouth Police said: “Five police officers have been out and about on high visibility foot patrols as part of Operation Relentless focussing on Bournemouth Town Centre.
“The team dealt with the following incidents whilst out and about in their pairs:-
“Provided immediate first aid (CPR) to a male who was unconscious and not breathing.
“Two stop searches were conducted on two females suspected of shoplifting in the town centre. They were issued Section 35 dispersal notices to remove them from the area.
“Officers conducted a stop search of a male on Cambridge Road, finding a quantity of controlled drugs.
“These Op Relentless patrols are funded by our PCC and support the excellent work already ongoing in the town from our Neighbourhood Team (NPT) and Patrol Officers.”
