MORE heavy rain is set to sweep across Dorset, the Met Office has warned.
A new yellow weather warning has been issued from 9pm on Saturday, September 7 until 6pm on Sunday, September 8.
The warning covers the whole of the county including Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

A Met Office spokesperson said: “Whilst there remains some uncertainty with exact details, areas of heavy and at times thundery rain are expected to spread north, then west, across England and Wales from this evening and overnight.
"These areas of heavy rain may become more persistent across western areas during Sunday daytime whilst slow-moving heavy showers and thunderstorms are likely to develop further east.”
The spokesperson added some places could see less than 10mm of rainfall, while others could see as much as 40 to 60mm of rain.
It said there is a “lower chance” that some places across the country could see 80 to 100mm of rain by the end of Sunday.
The spokesperson said: “These higher totals are slightly more probable in the southern half of the warning area. Given this region has also seen a lot of rain since Thursday, impacts may be more likely than would normally be expected for the time of year here.”
In terms of what to expect, the Met Office said there is a slight chance of power cuts and flooding to some, with potential for difficult driving conditions and disruption to public transport.
It added: “There is a small chance of fast flowing or deep floodwater causing danger to life.”
Rain is expected to start from 12pm on Saturday, with showers set to last until mid afternoon on Sunday.
According to the Met Office forecast, heavy rain is expected at 3pm and 6pm today and again at 3am and 4am on Sunday and at 2pm.
