A MAN was assaulted during a spat between a group of people.
Police officers were called to the “disturbance” in Tregonwell Road, Bournemouth town centre on Sunday evening, September 8.
The officers said a man suffered only minor injuries during the attack, and that nobody has been arrested yet.
A witness saw multiple police vehicles arrive in the road shortly after 9pm.
Dorset Police’s spokesman said: “We received a report at 9.15pm on Sunday 8 September 2024 of a disturbance involving a group of people in Tregonwell Road in Bournemouth.
“Officers attended and it was reported that a man had been assaulted and had sustained minor injuries.
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing. No arrests have been made.”
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 21:18hrs on Sunday 8 September to an incident in Bournemouth and we sent a double-crewed land ambulance to the scene.”
