A WOMAN was found dead in her bathroom by a friend.
Martha Louise Vickers, 44, died after she was believed to have taken a mix of heroin and methadone, an inquest heard.
Coroner’s officer Grace Monro told Bournemouth Coroner’s Court that paramedics were called to Miss Vickers’ home in Hereford Road, Weymouth on July 11 where they pronounced her dead.
Dorset Police’s officers also attended and found no suspicious circumstances into her death, she added.
A postmortem examination of Miss Vickers found a provisional cause of death as “mixed drug intoxication of heroin and methadone", the inquest heard.
Dorset coroner Rachael Griffin asked for statements from Miss Vickers’ family, her GP, mental health services if they had contact with her, drug and alcohol services and the police.
Mrs Griffin adjourned the inquest at Bournemouth Coroner’s Court until March 26, 2025.
The inquest continues.
