A PERSON was hospitalised following a medical incident in Hampshire.
An air ambulance, Hampshire Police and Southwestern Ambulance service attended the incident in Bransgore.
It is reported that the incident was first reported as a crash before Hampshire Police confirmed it was a medical incident.
Pound Lane was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident at around 3pm on September 9.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: "We were called at 15:39hrs on Monday 9 September to a road traffic collision near Bransgore.
"We sent two double-crewed land ambulances and a critical care car to the scene and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Royal Bournemouth Hospital."
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance confirmed that the air ambulance, carrying a doctor and specialist paramedic, was dispatched to an incident in Christchurch at 15:50 on Monday 9 September.
Following treatment on scene, a patient was taken to hospital for further treatment via road ambulance.
