AN INVESTIGATION into a serious injury crash which saw a motorcyclist airlifted to hospital has concluded.
Dorset Police were called to a crash between a silver 600cc Honda scooter and a grey Ford Focus on the A351 Wareham Road in Holton Heath on January 30.
The scooter rider, a man in his 70s and from Wareham, was airlifted to Southampton Hospital with serious injuries.
Police shut the road for several hours, causing severe congestion in the area as well as westbound on the A35 past Upton.
Providing an update, Dorset Police’s spokeswoman said no arrests or charges have been made during the investigation.
She added: “Enquiries were carried out. As always, if any new information comes to light this will be considered.”
Multiple emergency service vehicles rushed to the crash, including multiple police cars, an air ambulance, a double-crewed land ambulance, a critical care car and a fire engine.
