THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

DANIEL BROWN, 29 and of Boscombe Grove Road in Bournemouth, admitted driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence, using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance, and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely 2.9 micrograms of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol, in Holdenhurst Road in Bournemouth on January 28. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £48 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

CALUM LITTLE, 27 and of Heatherlea Road in Bournemouth, admitted possession of a controlled drug of class A, namely cocaine, and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely cocaine, in Willow Way in Christchurch on February 18. He admitted being the driver of a vehicle failing to stop after a road accident, and using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance in Stourfield Road in Bournemouth on May 11. He admitted possession of a controlled drug of class A, namely cocaine, and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, namely an extendable baton, in St Paul’s Road in Bournemouth on May 30. He was handed a community order lasting until September 5, 2025, and disqualified from driving for 24 months. He was also fined £500 and ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

CARL HUNT, 43 and of Larch Close in St Leonard’s, admitted using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance in Ivy Road in Poole on March 30. He got six points on his licence. He was also fined £379, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £152, and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

ROBYN CHESTER, 19 and of Oxford Road in Bournemouth, admitted two counts of criminal damage to property after damaging a Dorset Police van, and damaging the front door of the probation service to the value of £512.33 in Bournemouth on July 27. They were handed a community order lasting until September 5, 2025, and ordered to pay £100 compensation.

RODNEY MARLOW, 59 and of Bournemouth Road in Poole, admitted assault by beating of an emergency worker after assaulting a police officer in West Cliff Road in Bournemouth on August 8. He was conditionally discharged for a period of 18 months. He was also ordered to pay £300 compensation and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

PAUL BUCKLEY, 35 and of Bournemouth, admitted criminal damage to property after damaging a car in West Cliff Road in Bournemouth on August 8. He was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months and ordered to pay £100 compensation.

BERNADETTE WHELAN, 49 and of Glen Road in Bournemouth, admitted failing to answer to court / police bail as soon as practicable at Poole Magistrates’ Court on July 30. He was fined £50 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £26.

BAILEY WHITE, 24 and of Curlieu Road in Poole, admitted driving while disqualified and using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance in Poole on May 12. He admitted failing to surrender to police / court bail at the appointed time at Poole Magistrates’ Court on August 20. He was disqualified from driving for six months. He was also fined £120 and ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

KEVIN NOTTAGE, 46 and of Fenton Road in Bournemouth, admitted failing to stop a mechanically propelled vehicle when required by constable / traffic warden and driving a motor vehicle dangerously in roads across Bournemouth and Christchurch on June 13. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and handed a community order lasting until September 5, 2025, with a requirement to complete 250 hours within 12 months. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

JONATHAN GRIFFITHS, 67 and of Harcourt Road in Bournemouth, admitted failing to answer to court / police bail as soon as practicable at Poole Magistrates’ Court on July 22. He admitted using a motor vehicle on a road without a valid test certificate and being in charge of motor vehicle with alcohol level above limit, namely with 78 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, in Harcourt Road in Bournemouth on May 11. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also fined £500, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £200 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

RYAN PITMAN, 37 and of Bournemouth, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court. The community order was varied to contain new requirements, and he was ordered to pay costs of £60.

SHAUN COOPER, 35 and of Palmerston Close in Upton, admitted possession of a class C controlled drug, namely tablets of pregablin, tramadol, valium, and zopiclone, in Palmerstone Close in Upton on March 8. He was conditionally discharged for a period of 36 months. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £26 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

JAKE MUSSELWHITE, 35 and of Old Orchard in Poole, admitted possession of a controlled drug of class A, namely 3.8 grams of cocaine, in Fernside Road in Poole on March 8. He was fined £500, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £200 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

PETER WINDLE, 38 and of Durley Road in Gosport, admitted possession of a controlled drug of class B, namely 185.5 grams of cannabis, in Fir Vale Road in Bournemouth on April 6. He was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £40 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
