THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:
ANWAR HUSEIN, 27 and of Bennett Road in Bournemouth, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court. He was handed an eight week prison sentence suspended for 12 months, and ordered to pay costs of £60.
DANIEL MILES, 37 and of Donoughmore Road in Bournemouth, admitted sending by public communication network an offensive / indecent / obscene / menacing message / matter and assault by beating in Bournemouth on February 12. He was conditionally discharged for a period of two years and a restraining order was made for the victim. He was also ordered to pay £300 compensation and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
IAN PAYNE, 32 and of Upper Gordon Road in Christchurch, admitted failing to comply with a section 35 direction excluding a person from an area, namely Lymington Road in Highcliffe, on June 2. He admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Lymington Road in Highcliffe on June 16. He admitted using threatening / abusive words / behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Christchurch on August 14. He admitted theft from a shop, after stealing alcohol from the BP garage in Christchurch on August 14. He was fined £120.
RYAN BOWERS, 24 and of Hudson Close in Poole, admitted seven counts of failing to make a relevant record / entry kept for the purposes of the Community Recording Equipment Regulations at Dorset Way in Poole between May 15 and June 12. He admitted being the driver of a relevant vehicle failing to carry an initial Certificate of Professional Competence in Dorset Way in Poole on June 13. He was fined £633, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £253 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
RYAN WAY, 28 and of Khyber Road in Parkstone, admitted driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely 157ugl of Benzoylecgonine, in Sylvan Road in Poole on September 12, 2023. He was disqualified from driving for 14 months. He was also fined £300, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £120 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
WARREN MEADOWCROFT, 35 and of Field Close in Sturminster Newton, was found guilty of two counts of assault by beating in Sturminster Newton on July 15, 2023, and December 9, 2023. He admitted failing to surrender to police / court bail at the appointed time at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on July 8. He admitted obstructing/resisting a constable in execution of duty and criminal damage to property after damaging a chair, table and drinking glasses at the Swan Hotel in Sturminster Newton on December 9, 2023. He was handed a community order lasting until March 11, 2026, with a requirement to complete 100 hours on unpaid work within 12 months, and was banned from entering the Swan Hotel until March 11, 2026. He was also ordered to pay £450 compensation and costs of £650 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
JOSHUA JAMES WINTER, 22 and of Knowlton Road in Poole, admitted five counts of theft from a shop in Lymington on May 21, May 29 and June 2, in Poole on March 7, and in Southampton on February 29. He admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates’ Court. He admitted criminal damage to property after damaging a bus shelter in Ashley Road in Poole on March 14. He admitted possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, namely an axe, in Ashley Road in Poole on March 14. He admitted two counts of failing to surrender to police / court bail at the appointed time at Poole Magistrates Court on August 2 and August 30. He admitted using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour with intent to cause fear of / provoke unlawful violence in Bournemouth on June 8. He was handed a 15 week prison sentence suspended for six months and ordered to pay £625 compensation.
JACK WOODFORD, 37 and of Anchor Close in Poole, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court. He admitted two counts of failing to surrender to police / court bail at the appointed time at Poole Magistrates’ Court on September 9 and August 10. He admitted six counts of theft from a shop after stealing from Costcutter in Cunningham Crescent in Bournemouth on March 12 and 13, and May 3. He admitted attempted theft from a shop in Ringwood Road in Bournemouth on January 26. He was handed a 12 week prison sentence suspended for six months and ordered to pay costs of £60. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £87.34 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
MARTIN PAUL HISCOCK, 44 and of Thorncombe Close in Poole, admitted breaching a domestic violence protection order made by Dorset Magistrates Court. He was fined £50.
NICOLA BARNEY, 38 and of Joys Road in Three Legged Cross, admitted theft from a shop after stealing seven bottles vodka, five bottles of extra virgin oil and other food items to the value of £430.85 from Sainsburys in Hedge End in Hampshire on January 26. She was handed a community order lasting until September 12, 2025, and ordered to pay £215 compensation.
JACOB RODRIGUEZ-GUTIERREZ, 21 and of West Street in Fordingbridge, admitted driving motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit, namely 63mcg of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, in Poole Road in Bournemouth on April 18. He was disqualified from driving for 17 months. He was also fined £130, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £52 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
