THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:
STEPHEN SHORT, 58 and of Queensland Road in Bournemouth, admitted possession of a controlled drug of class A, namely heroin, and possession of a controlled drug of class C, namely Pregabalin, in Bournemouth on June 13. He was fined £160, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £64 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
MARTIN MACKEY, 34 and of Grosvenor Gardens in Bournemouth, admitted three counts of theft from a shop at Tesco and Co-op stores in Bournemouth on June 28, 2023, September 2, 2023, and October 6, 2023. He admitted burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal after entering the area behind the sales counter with intent to steal at Gemini Jewellery in Bournemouth on October 13, 2023. He was handed a community order lasting until September 12, 2025, and banned from entering Dorset for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay £960 compensation and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
CHARLES MOTHERS, 37 and of Rivers Mead in Sturminster Newton, admitted theft from a shop at Waitrose in Gillingham on May 24. He was fined £80, ordered to pay £6 compensation, a victim surcharge of £32 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
DANIEL BOLTON, 36 and of Brierley Road in Bournemouth, admitted two counts of burglary other than dwelling at Asda in Newstead Road in Weymouth on July 18, and Tesco Superstore in Waterloo Road in Poole on July 19. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay £529.99 compensation.
TREVOR JONES, 59 and of Kemp Road in Bournemouth, admitted driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol, in Richmond Park Road in Bournemouth on January 5. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also fined £250, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £100 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
REUBEN JUNIOR CHARLES, 57 and of Muscliffe Road in Bournemouth, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order made by Poole Magistrates’ Court. He was fined £50.
SEAN ALAN DODGE, 36 and of Locomotive Drive in Feltham, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order made by Poole Magistrates’ Court. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay costs of £60.
PRZEYSLAW GABRYS, 45 and of Bournemouth Road in Poole, admitted two counts of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely Benzoylecgonine and cocaine, and possession of a controlled drug of class A, namely cocaine, in Dean Park Road in Bournemouth on February 1, 2023. He was disqualified from driving for three years. He was also fined £600, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £240 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
ABIGAIL LLEWELLYN, 21 and of Longfleet Road in Poole, admitted five counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker, namely police officers, in Poole on February 15. She was handed a community order lasting until September 15, 2025 and ordered to pay £570 compensation.
JAMES TRENT, 40 and of Ringwood Road in Poole, admitted criminal damage to property after damaging a car wing mirror in Poole on February 13. He was conditionally discharged for a period of 18 months and ordered to pay £300 compensation.
ROBBIE LYONS, 46 and of no fixed address, admitted criminal damage to property after damaging a door lock valued at £72 belonging to Minster Property Management in St Peter’s Road in Bournemouth on March 19. He was ordered to pay compensation of £72.
