A PERSON was taken to hospital after a lorry overturned in Wareham.
Dorset Police were alerted to reports of a crash on Blackhill Roundabout in Holton Heath at around 5am this morning.
On arrival, officers reported that a crash involving two cars had left a lorry on its side.
One man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of a driving offence.
Road closures were in place while emergency services dealt with the incident.
It is understood that the road was reopened to motorists by midday.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 4.53am on Friday 20 September to an incident near Holton Health.
“We sent two double-crewed land ambulances, and an operations officer to the scene. We conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Poole Hospital”.
