Several pets in Dorset are looking for their forever homes, including at the Ashley Heath Animal Centre.

Located on the border with Hampshire, the centre offers care for its animals in rural surroundings.

If you want to adopt Nala you can view their full profile here.

Nala is described as a "vibrant and playful" dog who is searching for an active family to join.

She loves to play and explore, particularly running about in a secure garden.

Despite being a lively and enthusiastic dog she's also a bit of a "sensitive soul".

The RSPCA adds: "Due to a difficult start in life, she can be a bit wary when meeting new people, especially men.

"However, once she gets to know and trust you, she'll reward you with cuddles and become a loyal friend for life."

Ideally, Nala is looking for a quiet, adult-only home with a structured routine, where she can feel comfortable and relaxed.

Although she's nervous around other dogs, she can be walked at a distance but should be kept on a lead during her walks to ensure she feels safe.

Age - Six years old

Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed

Colour - Black and White

If you want to adopt Quincy you can view their full profile here.

Quincy came into the care of the RSPCA when a member of the public sadly found him abandoned in a carrier.

He was a bit wary at first, and whilst not the most affectionate he prefers being stroked on his terms and will let you know when he needs a break.

The RSPCA adds: "This cheeky chap enjoys running around and playing with toys but has shown his softer side by sitting on laps for some attention."

He still can be wary of being handled, he is not comfortable with being picked up or close examinations so his new family will need to respect his boundaries.
