DORSET Council is planning to close Lytchett Matravers High Street for roadworks.
The work is scheduled for September 26 to 30 and will only affect the carriageway.
Lytchett Matravers High Street will be closed daily from 9am to 4pm, but will open to traffic overnight.
The council will be conducting carriageway maintenance, including road resurfacing.
A spokesperson for Dorset Council said: “During the closure, on-street parking will be unavailable, and temporary parking restrictions will be enforced to prevent waiting or parking on the roads.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”
The recommended diversion route is marked in blue on the map above and this will remain in place for the full duration of the above works.
Morebus tweeted: “While the road is closed, buses will run directly between Rose and Crown and Wimborne Road via Wareham Road.”
