A ‘ONE of a kind’ chocolatier from Ringwood has built a huge online following including celebrity customers.

Chanise Murphy has become popular for her personalised sweet treats enjoyed by the likes of TV presenter, Stacey Solomon and Geordie Shore star, Vicky Pattison.

Chanise’s Chocolate was born after she created topped bars in ‘goodie bags’ for her friend’s birthday celebrations around six years ago.

“I just randomly melted some chocolate and put their favourite toppings, it was just so off the whim,” said Chanise.

After her friends suggested she should start selling the chocolates, Chanise launched her Instagram, website and Etsy store.

“One of my friends, Vicky, was on Geordie Shore at the time so she put it on her story and I ended up with about a thousand followers overnight.”

Chanise said the business ‘snowballed and grew from there’ with her social media now boasting 26,000 followers.

“One-of-a-kind chocolate bars that you can't buy from the shop.

“It started mainly with me having a chocolate bar and just putting everyone's favourite chocolates on top of a chocolate bar that you wouldn't be able to get in the shop.”

She said her aesthetically appealing treats attract social media influencers, celebs and footballers’ partners.

Customers can completely personalise their bars with flavours, lettering, numbers and colours.

“My favourite thing, especially at Valentine’s and birthdays, is requests for explicit and rude wordings on their chocolate bars.”

Chanise added that she hides those particular orders from her nan who often helps to tidy her chocolate room.

“Also one of my favourites is breakfast toppers, which are really popular.

“They’re love heart chocolates with different toppings that people can pop onto their hot porridge and take videos of them melting in.”

Also growing in popularity is Chanise’s calorie labelled range, aimed towards those on diet plans or customers involved in bodybuilding competitions.

Due to Chanise’s son joining school, she said she has more time for her business and is hoping to re-introduce cookies, brownies and cakes as well as set up her own TikTok shop.

Chanise’s Chocolate can currently be found on Instagram, on her website and on Etsy.
