A NEW business offering your face on a beverage of your choice is the Daily Echo’s Trader of the Week.

Colin Foote, 53, owns Selfie Sips, a mobile drink printing business in Dorset.

Colin said: “I got the idea from researching how to make a coffee shop unique and stumbled across these brand new drinks colour printers.

"I have to go to wherever it is that wants to hire us for the evening to see their drinks menu and make sure that it's suitable.

“We put it on the little platform, they stand in front of the selfie light and the little selfie camera that we have and we take a headshot of them, which is sent straight to the printer, and then their drink goes up on the little conveyor belt, comes back down and it all takes about 40 seconds.

“We can take prints of anything from faces to business logos."

He added: “I was just getting made redundant at work anyway, so I needed another avenue to take, so I imported the printer from Italy.

“It will print on any flat, white, foamy surface, it's really good on cappuccinos, lattes and works very well on ice cream.

“You can print on beer, milkshakes, cocktails, anything that is directly onto foam.

“We can bring the magic to any occasion, from corporate events to kids' parties, using your existing drinks menu to create a personalised and memorable experience for your guests.

“Just imagine seeing your face or a fun image on top of your drink. It’s not only delicious but also Instagram-worthy.”

So far, Elvis, David Jason as Del Boy from Only Fools and Horses and Mickey Mouse are among the figures that have been printed onto various beverages.

Selfie Sips is now available to hire for any events from children’s parties to corporate events.
