A MAN has been arrested and taken to hospital after crashing into traffic lights in Poole.
Dorset Police received a report at 9.33pm on Tuesday, October 1, of a collision on Poole Road in Branksome involving a vehicle that collided with traffic lights.
Officers attended. A man aged in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of a driving offence and was taken to hospital for treatment of injuries that were not believed to be serious.
The local authority was notified in relation to damage to the traffic lights, and officers left the scene at around 12.15am on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
At the time of publishing, Morebus said the M1, M2, and 16 would be diverted via Lindsay Road.
