ANOTHER vehicle has been found charred on a street in Poole for the second time in a week.
A DPD van was left smouldering in Princess Road in Branksome.
It is believed the van was burning throughout the night into the early hours of Thursday morning, October 3.
This comes after the fire service was also called to Princess Road on September 29 to extinguish a separate van fire.
The steering wheel was fully melted, and the wiring was fried.
It is believed Dorset Police were not called to investigate the incident.
Residents spoke of their shock and anger at the latest incident.
One nearby resident said: ‘How does this keep happening? This is a quiet street.”
A woman, also from the area said: “It’s sad that this keeps happening.”
A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to an incident at 2.03am this morning (3 October) off Princess Road, Poole to reports of a van on fire.
“Crews from Springbourne and Redhill Park attended where they used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
“Our stop was at 3am.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
DPD has been contacted.
