THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

SHAQEEB ZAHIDI, 29 and of Cape Hill and Smethwick, admitted driving a motor vehicle while using a hand-held mobile telephone in Castle Lane West in Bournemouth on January 9. He got six penalty points. He was also fined £311, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £124, and costs of £250 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

THERESA BATES, 34 and of Charminster Road in Bournemouth, admitted driving a vehicle while unfit through drugs on the Wessex Way in Bournemouth on February 10. She was disqualified from driving for 12 months. She was also fined £500, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £200, and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

MOHAMED KAREM, 22 and of Palmerston Road in Bournemouth, was found guilty of driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence in Bath Road in Bournemouth on February 1. He got four penalty points. He was also fined £220, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £88, and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

LLOYD KEYNES, 43 and of Rushall in Lytchett Matravers, admitted two counts of theft from the person of another after stealing a wallet to the value of approximately £20 from a person in Waterloo Road in Poole on April 12, and stealing a wallet containing £90 cash, debit and credit cards, store cards and a driving licence in Poole on May 19. He was handed a community order lasting until October 1, 2025. He was also ordered to pay £500 compensation.

JAROSLAV KASPAROVIC, 45 and of Bournemouth, admitted possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, namely a knuckleduster in Avenue Lane in Bournemouth on June 9. He was fined £431, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £172, and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

DANIEL MEYRICK, 38 and of Bournemouth, admitted two counts of possession of a controlled drug of class A, namely cocaine and heroin, in Tregonwell Road in Bournemouth on July 5. He was fined £200.

MOHAMMED MIAH, 39 and of Mickleham Close in Poole, admitted assault by beating in Ripon Road in Bournemouth on July 28. He was conditionally discharged for a period of six months and a restraining order was made for the victim. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £26.

DEAN TROTT, 33 and of Dale Close in Poole, admitted burglary other than dwelling - theft, after stealing money from a building in Poole on August 24. He was jailed for 18 weeks.

JUSTIN BICKER, 54 and of Turlin Road in Poole, admitted using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour with intent to cause fear of / provoke unlawful violence at The Co Op in Poole Road in Upton on November 12, 2023. He was handed a community order lasting until October 1, 2025, and banned from entering all Co Op stores in Dorset for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay £300 compensation and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

CRAIG STIRLING, 32 and of Woodfield Road in Bournemouth, admitted driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely Benzoylecgonine, in Keeble Road in Bournemouth on March 14. He was conditionally discharged for a period of two years and disqualified from driving for two years. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £26 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
