A CAR suspected to have been involved in the illegal dumping of waste in Dorset has been seized.
The blue Mitsubishi Outlander car was seized from Christy's Lane in Shaftesbury by Dorset Council's Environmental Enforcement Team.
The car is subject to a live investigation and is suspected to have been involved in environmental crimes in the county.
It was seized on Friday, September 20 at around 11am however details have only just been made available by the Environmental Enforcement Team.
The seizure is under Sections 33/34/34B Environmental Protection Act 1990, the breach of duty of care and illegal depositing of waste.
If a seizure notice has been published and served per regulations and no valid claim is made then the authority may immediately dispose of the vehicle.
The claim must be fully supported by the evidence/documentation and be made before October 14.
