BOOTS Hearingcare could be opening at an empty unit in Christchurch town centre.
The company has earmarked 9 Saxon Square, next door to Boots Opticians, for a new branch.
Plans to install Boots Hearing signage at the unit have been submitted to BCP Council, with proposed shop front visualisations included in the application.
The empty unit, formerly home to Halifax, is listed for lease by Ellis and Partners at £15,000 per annum plus VAT.
Christchurch Town Council had also eyed up the site as a new council chamber and office but faced an ‘unexpected setback’ last month.
In a report shared at the full council meeting on September 16, acting town clerk James Atkinson said the building was being leased to another organisation.
The Daily Echo has contacted Boots Hearingcare for more information.
Boots also has a shop with a pharmacy at 23 Saxon Square.
