ROADWORKS in Magna Road has been extended for another week.
Due to the SGN roadworks, commuters travelling between Merley and the Bear Cross roundabout have been enduring 'traffic chaos'.
A spokesperson for SGN previously said: "The project is currently scheduled to be completed by Friday, October 11, but we hope to finish ahead of schedule."
However, the estimated finishing date has been extended to October 18.
The works have now switched from temporary three-way traffic lights to temporary two-way traffic lights.
The SGN spokesperson added: "We're sorry for any inconvenience our work may cause to the local community and would recommend allowing extra time for your journeys."
