MILFORD on Sea Post Office has re-opened at a brand-new location.

The post office has moved to One Stop at 49 High Street, restoring a full-time service to the area.

It will be open for 60 hours a week, between 8am and 8pm Monday to Saturday.

The previous part-time mobile service, located in Sea Road, had only operated on a Friday and Saturday.

The move has resulted in an extra 56 hours of post office services per week.

Graham Brander, Post Office network provision manager, said: “We are delighted to have restored a post office to this area as we know how important a post office is to a community. The branch’s opening hours are very handy as they are much longer than before.”

The new premises have a wide door with three steps and a handrail at the front entrance. However, level access can be gained to the rear of the premises via the side alley.
