FOOTAGE of a crash which left a man with life-changing injuries may be circulating among residents, police have said. 

Detectives investigating the serious crash involving a Range Rover and a pedestrian have asked residents with access to the video clip to send it to them. 

The pedestrian, a man in his 20s from Christchurch, remains in hospital after being airlifted there with “life changing” injuries. His next of kin are aware. 

It’s believed two people who were in the black Range Rover during the crash in Etches Avenue, at the junction of Western Avenue, Bournemouth, fled the scene. 

Following enquiries, two men – aged 20 and 54 from Bournemouth – were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and driving offences. They remain in police custody. 

The arrested men are known to the victim. 

The crash happened at around 10pm on Monday, October 7. 

Detective chief inspector Andy Bell, of BCP CID, said: “We are continuing to carry out extensive enquiries into the circumstances of this incident and we would urge anyone with information that might assist our investigation to please come forward. 

“We are aware that there may be footage of this incident that is circulating within the community. I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police as well as anyone who might have captured any relevant footage on home CCTV, doorbell cameras or dashcam to speak to us.
