A WANTED man accused of stalking has been found by police and arrested.

Detectives issued an appeal to local Matthew Foster-Smith, 45, who was also wanted in connection with reported breaches of a restraining order.

It was said that he had failed to arrive at an address he was bailed to in London, after appearing at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, September 17.

Following detailed enquiries, with assistance from the Metropolitan Police, Foster-Smith has now been located and arrested.

He is next due to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday, October 17.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.”
