A BOURNEMOUTH coach holiday group has acquired a hotel in Somerset.

Westbourne-based Daish’s Holidays has bought The Sandringham Hotel in the seaside town of Weston-Super-Mare.

Bought for an undisclosed sum, it joins the company’s portfolio of 11 hotels across England and Wales.

Bosses have said the purchase of this 92-bed hotel is a strategic investment and marks a “significant milestone” in the company’s 45-year history.

It's hoped the sale will ensure the long-term sustainability and future growth of Daish’s Holidays while “enabling the company to continue to provide great value, traditional holiday experiences” for decades to come.
