THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

ALFRED BARRETT, 18 and of Broomhill Way in Poole, admitted possession of a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place, namely a knife, in Columbia Road in Bournemouth on January 24. He admitted theft from a shop after stealing a bottle of vodka to the value of £16.99 from Ensbury Wine in Columbia Road in Bournemouth on January 24.

MEGAN DOYLE, 36 and of Bournemouth, admitted two counts of theft from a shop after stealing various perfumes valued at £762 from Space NK in Gervis Place in Bournemouth on March 9, and stealing fragrances valued at £243 from Bobby’s in Commercial Road in Bournemouth on April 28. She was conditionally discharged for a period of 18 months. She was also ordered to pay £624 compensation.

JOSHUA SMITH, 24 and of Dacombe Drive in Upton, admitted failing to provide specimen for analysis as a vehicle driver, namely a breath specimen, in Bournemouth custody on July 6. He was disqualified from driving for 17 months. He was also fined £576, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £230 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

DOMINIK ZMINKOWSKI, 28 and of Portman Road in Bournemouth, admitted possession of a controlled drug of class B, namely 7g of cannabis, and possession of a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid / gas / electrical incapacitation device, namely a stun-baton-torch, in Portman Road in Bournemouth on September 8, 2022. He was fined £553, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £221 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

SHANE WILSON, 37 and of no fixed address, admitted going equipped for theft (but not of a motor vehicle), namely being in possession of a screwdriver for use in the course of, or in connection with, theft, in Holdenhurst Road in Bournemouth on November 28, 2023. He admitted criminal damage to property valued under £5000 after damaging office equipment namely computer screens and a safe belonging to Lidl in Holdenhurst Road in Bournemouth on November 28, 2023. He was jailed for eight weeks and ordered to pay £150 compensation.

DAVID MONTGOMERY, 44 and of New Borough Road in Wimborne, admitted possession of a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place, and criminal damage to property valued under £5000 after damaging a car to the value of £100 in New Borough Road in Wimborne on June 15. He was handed a community order lasting until October 8, 2025. He was also fined £866, ordered to pay £100 compensation and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
