POLICE have responded to multiple reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) in a residential area.

The ASB has reportedly been occurring in the area of Station Road in New Milton.

Lymington and New Milton Police said officers were aware of ‘several incidents’ occurring over recent weeks, and have managed to identify ‘youths’ believed to be involved.

Some of these individuals, also suspected of being involved in criminality resulting from ASB, have been interviewed in connection with the incidents.

In a social media post, A/PS Chapman of New Milton Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “We'd like to remind any young people suspected of being involved in ASB or criminality that the areas described above are well covered by CCTV, which will always be reviewed following any reports being made to us.

"We will continue to deal robustly with any further incidents of this nature, so please ensure you know where your children are, who they are with, what they are doing and that they are staying safe and out of trouble.

"Consideration has, and will continue to be given to dispersal orders in areas of continued ASB.”
