A TEENAGE girl has been taken to hospital after reportedly falling from a footbridge in Bournemouth.

Dorset Police received a report at 3.33pm on Thursday, October 10, of a concern for the welfare of a teenage girl on a footbridge in the Alum Chine area.

It was further reported that the girl had fallen from the bridge.

Emergency services attended the scene and road closures were put in place.

On Friday morning, Dorset Police confirmed the girl had been taken to hospital to receive treatment to her injuries, but no further update was provided on her condition.
