THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

LUCY ARNOLD, 38 and of Newquay Road in Poole, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in South Street in Dorchester on June 17. She was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £48 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

JOAN REY-PEREIRA, 19 and of Hyde Road in Bournemouth, admitted possession of a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place, namely a red knife, possession of a controlled drug of class B, namely Cannabis, driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence, using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance, and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), in Poole Road in Bournemouth on November 25, 2023. He was handed a three-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months, required to complete 100 hours of unpaid work, and disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £154 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

DARREN JOHN WELLS, 50 and of Frobisher Avenue in Poole, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following his release from a period of imprisonment. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay costs of £60.

MORGAN CARTER, 46 and of Kings Close in Bournemouth, admitted driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence, using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance, and driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit, namely 104 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, in Lees Lane in Gosport on June 4. They were handed a community order lasting until January 9, 2026, and disqualified from driving for 23 months. They were also fined £100, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

JOANA CARDOSO, 60 and of Antlers Hill and Chingford, admitted knowingly / recklessly obtain or disclose personal data without consent of controller in Wavell Road in Bournemouth on May 11, 2023. She was fined £1600, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £640 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

TERRY COOK, 48 and of Helier Road in Poole, admitted criminal damage to property valued under £5000 after damaging a police custody cell in Bournemouth on July 22. He admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Dorset Way in Poole on July 22. He was fined £40, ordered to pay £60 compensation and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

GARY STICKLEY, 58 and of Winston Avenue in Poole, was found guilty of two counts of assault by beating in Halstock Crescent in Poole on May 5, 2023. He was handed a community order lasting until October 10, 2026 and required to complete 100 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay £150 compensation, a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £200 to the Crown Prosecution Service. A restraining order was made for the victim.
