THOUSANDS of people will lace up their trainers for Run Bournemouth this weekend.

The big annual event will see children and adults take part in six races across Saturday and Sunday along the seafront.

Saturday will see a junior 2k at 2pm, followed by a junior 1.5k at 2.45pm, a kids' kilometre at 3.30pm and a supernova 5k at 7pm.

Then on Sunday, a supersonic 10k will set off at 9am with the final race, a half marathon, taking place at 11am. 

A number of road closures and restrictions will be in place during the event.

Here’s a list of the roads that will be affected and the measures that will be in force.
