AN INDOOR adventure attraction is urging young artists to take part in its mascot challenge, as the deadline for submissions approaches.

RockReef, on Bournemouth Pier, is giving young people the chance to win a year of free Clip’n Climb at the venue for designing its latest mascot as part of its 10th anniversary.

Children under 16 years old are encouraged to take part in the challenge which ends on October 16.

A panel of judges will be reviewing the designs including: Violet McClean, TheGallery curator/ manager at Arts University Bournemouth, James Johnson, editor at the Daily Echo, Cllr Andy Martin, customer, communications and culture at BCP Council and James Balcazar, group marketing at Adventure Attractions.

The mascot should embody the excitement and adventure of RockReef and be inspired by daring climbers, fund animals or any other character.

Along with their designs, participants should give their mascots a name and short description of its personality.

Designs should be on A4 sized paper and submitted with the artist’s name, age and contact information.

Submissions can be emailed to MascotChallenge@rockreef.co.uk or mailed to RockReef Mascot Challenge, 3 Pier Approach, Bournemouth, BH2 5AA.
