Now, Dorset Police are trying to contact the woman’s next of kin.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 10.30pm on Thursday 10 October 2024 from a member of the public raising concern for someone who they believed may have entered the water at Boscombe beach.
“Officers attended to assist the coastguard.
“At around 12.10am, officers received a report from the coastguard that the body of a woman had been found in the water.
