A GROUP of teenagers were arrested after driving ‘erratically’ during a late-night police chase.
Four teenagers were forced to stop by officers after driving erratically in a Citroen Picasso around Turlin Moor on October 11.
Officers managed to stop the vehicle from preventing further risk to the area.
All boys were initially arrested on suspicion of driving offences and have now been released on police bail while the investigation continues.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “At 12.13 am on Friday 11 October 2024 officers observed a vehicle - a Citroen Picasso - driving erratically in the Turlin Moor area of Poole.
"Officers followed and made contact to bring the vehicle to a stop and prevent further risk in Blandford Road.
"It is reported that the four occupants fled the scene.
"Following a search, four teenage boys were detained and arrested on suspicion of driving offences. They have been released on police bail as the investigation continues.
"Fortunately, there were no reports of any injuries to either the alleged offenders or the officers involved."
