A MAN launched a bag of dog poo at a woman's face and kicked her arm after an altercation in Poole.

It was reported that at around 2pm on Tuesday, October 15, a woman aged in her 50s was walking her dog in Turners Nursery field near Uppleby Road in Branksome.

She was approached by a man with a Shar Pei dog, who she had encountered in the field on previous occasions.

The man threw a bag containing dog faeces at her, striking her in the face.

The man continued to act aggressively towards the victim and pushed her to the chest, causing her to stumble backwards, and then kicked her arm.

The victim left the field, and a woman who is believed to live nearby came to see if she was alright.

The man involved is described as described as aged in his mid 40s, around six feet seven inches tall and of stocky build. He was wearing a white Adidas baseball cap, a red hooded top, grey tracksuit trousers and grey trainers.

Police Constable Andy Dickinson of Dorset Police said: “This incident understandably left the victim very distressed, although fortunately, she did not sustain any serious injuries.

“We are carrying out enquiries to identify the man involved, and I would urge anyone with information that might assist our investigation to please come forward.

“I understand there may have been other dog walkers in the field at the relevant time and I would urge any witnesses to please make contact with us.”
