A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after being involved in a car crash.
Officers were alerted to a crash at around 3.30pm this afternoon (October 17).
Emergency services are currently on the scene.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We were called at 3.38pm to a report of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Western Road.
“Officers in attendance with ambulance service.
“Female pedestrian is being taken to hospital for treatment. No mention of road closures.”
