AN opening date has been confirmed for a new indoor go-karting track in Bournemouth.
TeamSport Indoor Karting will open in Wallisdown Road on Friday, December 13.
The new venue will feature a track stretching just over 300 metres, with capacity for 14 state-of-the-art karts to race at once.
TeamSport previously said the Bournemouth track would bring 30 new jobs to the area.
Dom Gaynor, the company’s CEO, said: "We are excited to announce that we will be opening a venue in Bournemouth.
"Our goal is to create a space that caters to adrenaline junkies as well as families.
"It will be a perfect place for stag and hen parties, and we will also be developing a race academy program for young racers."
A premises licence application has also been submitted ahead of the opening, requesting permission for alcohol sales at the venue between 9am and 10.30pm daily.
