A MOTORCYLIST was rushed to hospital after a crash on a busy route through Poole.
Emergency services were called to the crash involving a car and motorbike in Bournemouth Road, at the Commercial Road end, through Ashley Cross on Saturday afternoon, October 19.
Officers closed the road temporarily just after 2pm while paramedics attended to the injured rider.
His injuries are not believed to be serious, a spokesman for Dorset Police said.
He added: “We received a report at 2.05pm on Saturday 19 October 2024 of a collision in Bournemouth Road in Poole involving a car and a motorcycle. It was reported that the road was blocked.
“Emergency services attended and the motorcyclist was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are not believed to be serious.”
The crash brought much disruption to the already busy area of Poole, with congestion building and bus services delayed.
The spokesman added: “The vehicles were recovered and police left the scene at around 6pm.”
