A MAN has been arrested after a crash in a residential area.
A Toyota Auris and Nissan Micra crashed in Turbary Park Avenue, West Howe, at about 5pm on Sunday, October 20.
Emergency services were called to the incident at the Poole Lane end of the road and paramedics took one person to hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, a 21-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of driving offences – the details of which have not been provided.
A spokeswoman for Dorset Police said: “We were called at 5.05pm on Sunday 20 October 2024 to a report of a collision involving two vehicles in Turbary Park Avenue in Bournemouth.
“Officers attended with fire and ambulance services. One person was taken to hospital for treatment. Vehicles recovered and road cleared at around 6.10pm.
“A 21-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of driving offences.”
Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service's spokeswoman added: "We were called to Turbary Park Avenue, Bournemouth at 5.11pm on October 20 following a two vehicle road traffic collision.
"One crew from Redhill Park attended and made the scene safe."
Firefighters left the scene at 5.36pm.
