A LARGE sinkhole has swallowed the tyre of a van in Bournemouth Railway Station.
Residents were shocked when walking past a white van that had been partially sub-merged in a sinkhole this morning (October 22).
A police cordon has been placed around the area for safety reasons.
It is unknown when the sinkhole first appeared or when it will be fixed.
The Daily Echo has contacted BCP Council and Dorset Police for comment.
