THREE holiday parks are celebrating after being awarded top marks by Visit England.

Hoburne Holidays’ parks at Naish and Bashley in Hampshire, along with Hoburne Park in Dorset, have all been awarded a coveted five-star grading.

The parks were graded for host of different characteristics, including cleanliness, quality of accommodation and restaurants, friendliness and helpfulness of staff and the standard of the onsite facilities.

The parks are rigorously assessed over a total of 76 different categories and have to achieve more than 87 per cent to be awarded the top rating.

Naish and Hoburne Park have also been recognised with Visit England’s additional Gold rating, for being assessed as having industry flagship examples of facilities for holidaymakers.

Jim Forward, CEO of Hoburne Group, said: “It’s a real coup for the parks to be recognised by Visit England who are among the most important names in the tourism business.

“It’s especially pleasing because all their assessors are hospitality trade professionals.  They really know when a company is going above and beyond to provide the best possible holiday experience for their customers, which is what we always strive to do.”

All of Hoburne’s parks across the south of England that were assessed for this year’s gradings achieved either four or five stars.

Hoburne was also recently named as one of the best in the country by consumer champion, Which?, with its gold standard, Recommended Provider Status.

Meanwhile, Hoburne Bashley has been named as a finalist in the self-catering category for the 2024 Destination Management Awards for tourism in Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole.

The park has recently benefited from considerable investment to make the golf course an all-year-round facility, further improve local woodland management to benefit wildlife habitats and upgrade the boiler to reduce the park's carbon footprint.
