A HOLLYWOOD star has been spotted filming at a Dorset beauty spot.

Ryan Gosling has been seen shooting at Durdle Door.

The Barbie and Notebook actor was seen surrounded by film crews while they worked on what is thought to be his upcoming movie Project Hail Mary.

Scarlet Martin, from Ringwood, decided to go for a walk at Durdle Door on Tuesday, October 15, while she was staying at the Priory Hotel in Wareham.

She said: “The car park was closed, and I was told I could park at Lulworth and walk through.

“When I reached Durdle Door, I could see them filming and there was Ryan Gosling acting out a scene.”

Scarlet is a digital content creator and filmed the encounter and posted it on the social media platform, TikTok, where the video surpassed 5,000 views.

She said: “I could clearly see that it was Ryan Gosling; he was wearing white chinos and, by the looks of it, a chunky knit cardigan.

“It was quite funny because I was walking down the big hill afterwards, and there were people huffing and puffing.

“I said to them, if it makes it any better, Ryan Gosling is at the other side.”

Lulworth Estate previously posted on its Facebook page that Durdle Door Beach, Man O War Beach and Durdle Door Car Park would be closed on October 11, 12 and 15.

It was rumoured filming was taking place for an upcoming Netflix show; however, this has been debunked after several people reported sighting the La La Land actor.

One lucky spectator posted on social media: “When you walk from Lulworth Cove to Durdle Door minding your own business and you stumble across Ryan Goslings new film set.”

Project Hail Mary is based on the book by Andy Weir, who also wrote The Martian which was later adapted into a Ridley Scott film starring Matt Damon.

The forthcoming film will feature Sandra Hüller, who recently starred in the Oscar-winning films The Zone of Interest and Anatomy of a Fall.

Durdle Door is a popular filming location, previously featured on Doctor Who, Nanny McPhee, World War Z, and Madding Crowd.

Brad Pitt was spotted filming World War Z at Lulworth Cove in 2012.
