THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

CHARLES RIDER, 26 and of Carysfort Road in Bournemouth, was found guilty of stalking without fear / alarm / distress in Maidstone between June 16 and August 3, 2023. Court records show he pursued a course of conduct which amounted to the stalking of a woman, namely sent her messages when being specifically instructed not to contact her, on multiple occasions gone uninvited to her home address, place of work and other addresses with the intention of stalking her. He was jailed for six weeks. He was also told to pay a victim surcharge of £154.

KATHLEEN CASH, 32 and of Bournemouth, admitted handling stolen goods, after she dishonestly undertook or assisted in the retention, removal, disposal or realisation of stolen goods, namely a military ID card, in Bournemouth on August 4. She admitted failing to surrender to police / court bail at the appointed time at Poole Magistrates’ Court on October 28. She admitted seven counts of theft from a shop after stealing from One Stop in Ripon Road in Bournemouth between July 21 and August 28. She was jailed for 12 weeks.

JAMES LONGFOOT, 32 and of Cranleigh Road in Bournemouth, admitted possession of an offensive weapon in private place, namely a knuckle duster with a blade, in Dudmoor Farm Road in Christchurch on August 19. He was fined £80, ordered to pay a victim surcharge £32 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

HEMANT FAUJDAR, 25 and of Grove Road in Bournemouth, admitted assault by beating in Bournemouth on October 27. He was fined £333, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £133 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

MATTHEW FENDLEY, 51 and of St Paul’s Lane in Bournemouth, admitted common assault in Longfleet Road in Poole on May 8. He admitted three counts of harassment - breach of a restraining order on conviction at Poole General Hospital on April 23 and May 17. He admitted criminal damage to property valued under £5000 in Poole on May 12. Court records show he damaged a cabinet to the value of £70. He admitted harassment without violence in Poole between April 1 and May 18. Court records show he pursued a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of a woman, namely ringing her doorbell, banging on her door and trying to gain access to her home as well as shouting outside her house and talking into her ring doorbell. He admitted failing to surrender to police / court bail at the appointed time at Poole Magistrates’ Court on July 22. He was handed an eight-week prison sentence suspended for six months, and a restraining order lasting until October 31, 2026, ordering him not to go to Poole General hospital expect for in cases of a genuine medical emergency. He was also ordered to pay £120 compensation and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

MATTHEW HOUSE, 51 and of West Cliff Road in Westbourne, admitted theft from a shop, namely stealing goods to the value of £41.70 from the Co-Op in Ashley Road in Poole on June 13. He was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months. He was also ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

MARTIN GEORGE, 50 and of Priory Road in Bournemouth, admitted driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit, namely 69 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, in Dean Park Crescent in Bournemouth on July 19. He was disqualified from driving for 21 months. He was also fined £420, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £168 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

PACO HEPBIR, 26 and of Bournemouth, admitted theft from a shop, namely stealing items to the value of £107.58 from Iceland in Poole Road in Bournemouth on August 4. He admitted failing to surrender to police / court bail at the appointed time at Poole Magistrates’ Court on October 28. He admitted possession of a controlled drug of Class B, namely 1.09g of Cannabis in Wootton Gardens in Bournemouth on October 31. He was conditionally discharged for a period of six months. He was also ordered to pay £107.58 compensation.
