DETECTIVES are investigating after a woman was reportedly sexually assaulted at a popular park.
A cordon was temporarily placed outside the Ark Café in Poole Park on November 2.
There was also a forensics van and police presence while the cordon was installed.
It is reported that an alleged sexual assault took place around 3am in the area.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a call at 3.13am on Saturday 2 November 2024 reporting a possible sexual assault on a woman in Poole Park.
“Detectives from BCP are continuing to investigate the incident and a cordon was put in place as enquiries were carried out. This has now been stood down.
“The investigation remains ongoing and the woman involved is being supported by specially-trained officers.
“No arrests have been made at this time.”
